Walnut Valley Festival. The set was truly an improvisational set as I had only played with Scott Schmidt (Mandolin)

& John Lowell (Guitar) that afternoon for 20 minutes in the Weber booth. James McKinney (Banjo), who I only

get to see once every two years or so, and Marvin Gruenbaum (Fiddle), joined us during the second song

of the set and had never met Scott and John!  The experience of an all acoustic  (no sound system)

performance under a small lantern for light, gave this 11:30 PM concert quite a nice feel.
